Veterinary Surgeon - Full Time or Part Time - Chesterfield, Derbyshire

We are based close to peak district which is ideal for someone who likes the outdoor lifestyle. Good links to M1 for travel up and down the country and only 35 minutes from East Midlands airport. Our great location means we benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base. 

You will be joining our clinical team of 2 Vets, 3 RVN’s, 1 SVN and 1 VCA and 1 client care advisor, as well as Partner Jennifer Oliver, RVN, who is 18 years qualified and a JVP for 13 years.

Our well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and you’ll get use of our surgery equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab. We see an even split of dogs and cats and 10% of our cases are exotics. 

You will be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with solid medical and surgical skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring. An interest in surgery and exotics will advantageous but not essential.

This is a full or part time position, 30-40 hours per week, with weekends on a rota basis. We are a family orientated practice with flexible hours to accommodate family life.
