The Middleton Vets4Pets practice has a great opportunity for a client care advisor to become a part of our friendly and dynamic team. We are a small, but busy practice and you will be joining an experienced team of two vets, three nurses, two student nurses, practice manager and a client care advisor.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Salary depending on experience
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily handling of phone calls
  • Booking and managing appointments
  • Creating and managing client and patient records
  • Effective communication to clients, visitors and the whole work team
  • Discussing and taking payments
  • Being and advocate of our services and care plans

Person Specification

The role is very client focused and you must be driven by excellent client care to enable you to provide a high level service to all of our clients. Experience in the veterinary care profession or a client care setting is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.

  • A positive, sensitive and compassionate attitude towards all aspects of the role
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and be able to handle difficult and upsetting situations in a polite and calm manner
  • Independence and flexibility
  • Excellent communication and team work skills
  • Basic computer skills

Due to the current circumstances, the practice is operating on temporary closing times. Once restrictions have eased or stopped the practice will revert back to our standard hours, meaning the shift pattern of the role will change.
